Concerned About Lead Levels in your drinking water?

There have been reports in the news recently regarding high levels of lead in some municipal drinking water supplies.  We are legally required to perform comprehensive water testing every two years.  These specific tests include monitoring for lead content.  In 2017 and 2019, the lead level was unchanged at 0.40 µg/L.  The provincial guideline for lead is <10.0 µg/L.  With regard to lead water service lines, we are not aware of any of these type of service lines in the Town of Lumsden.  For more information contact the Municipal Office.
