A Notary Public is a person authorized to witness the execution of many types of legal documents. They may also administer oaths, solemn affirmations and declarations used for affidavits and statutory declarations. Documents can also be certified as true copies of the originals.
A person must be physically present before the Notary Public and prove his or her identity (using photo identification), in order to have documents notarized.
The cost for notarization is $25.00.

Commissioner of Oaths:
A Commissioner of Oaths is a person authorized to administer and witness the swearing of oaths or solemn affirmations as it relates to affidavits for legal matters. Commissioners may witness declarations,however, they do not certify the truth of the statements contained in a document.
A person must be physically present before the Commissioner and prove his or her identity (using photo identification).
There is no cost to have documents Commissioned.
