Pushing Snow into the Right of Way is Dangerous!

PLEASE, do not push snow into the right of way when clearing private roadways.

These piles can create dangerous conditions for drivers and our RM staff. The piles of snow can freeze solid and become dangerous if hit by a driver and can cause damage to RM equipment when they are trying to clear the roadways and shoulders. It can also cause equipment to be pushed off the road if they run into a frozen pile of snow while trying to clear the roadways.

Furthermore, improper placement of snow can create drainage, drifting and sight obstructions.

PLEASE DO NOT PUSH SNOW INTO THE RIGHT OF WAY.

Thank you keeping everyone safe!
