Remembrance Day Nov 11, 2020

In keeping with the restrictions currently in place for gatherings, the Legion will still conduct a service of Remebrance on November 11 to honour the efforts of our Veterans and those who gave their life for Canada and continue to serve today.

The service will be livestreamed onto the Legion Facebook page : Royal Canadian Legion-Branch #234, Lumsden beginning at 10:45 a.m. from the Cenotaph.  There will be no service at the Centennial Hall this year.  The Legion would like to thank the Towns of Lumsden, Regina Beach and the RM of Lumsden, Viliage of Disley and Craven, all the residents and local businesses that have supported and continue to support us.

Public may attend, but must social distance in the park or sidewalk area, Masks will not be available but public are encouraged to wear one. No wreaths laid by individual families during service.
